Electric heating cablesare a proven solution for preventing snow accumulation and ice build-up on driveways, walkways, steps and ramps.  More commonplace in commercial properties, this technology is still fairly new and rapidly gaining popularity within the residential sector.

Our snow & ice melting product line was specially designed with Canadian winters in mind.  Available in 208, 240, 277, 347 & 480 Volt models and a wide range of wattages up to 6kW they can meet the requirements of any residential or commercial installation.

7mm or 1/4 inch diameter twin conductor heating cable.  12 W/F max 50 W/SF.  Covers 9-13 SF"in concrete or under asphalt 

We currently stock Snow & ice melting cable setsin residential 240V and commerical 347V models from 450W to 6kW.  With reasonable lead time we can also provide custom cable sets to suit whatever the voltage and wattage range needed by your application.

Cable sets are usually installed by attaching loops every 4-6" apart to welded wire mesh with nylon cable ties.  Cable sets can conform to any shape and change in level and can be used in concrete, under asphalt and under paving stones.

 Snow mats made from 7mm or 1/4 inch diameter twin conductor heating cable.  35 W/SF.  16 inches wide x 19.7 feet long.  Covers 25.8 SF"in concrete or under asphalt

 Snow & ice melting mats are ideal for large jobs or where additonal labour is not readily available.  Mats normally come in widths of 18" or 36" and can be made for any voltage and wattage desired.  Although we stock a small number of 240V mats, this is primarily a special order item and must be ordered in advance. 

 Powerful yet easy to setup snow & ice melt controller.  Capable of controlling up to 2 zones (requires one ETOG pavement sensor per zone). Controller uses 120VAC power and requires separate contactor or relay for each zone to control any voltage.

 We offer our own snow & ice melting controlswith integrated ground fault protection required by the electrical code.  Up until now the cost of providing GFI protection in commercial 1/3 phase installations has been prohibitive and hard to find.  Our integrated solution combines the latest in digital controllers with a cost effective programmable GFI monitoring system scalable for any voltage or current load required.
